I have greek yogurt - it is higher in protein than regular.

I also sometimes have smoked salmon, turkey or chicken with a whole wheat tortilla.

The Greek Gods - Plain Yogurt is 5g of carbs and really good! It's a dark green tub.

  • When I asked a similar question one of my friends posted this. It's delicious!!

I share one of my favorite protein rich "recipes" regularly, so you may have seen this one before...Get a whole wheat tortilla and spread 2 Tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter on it and then cover that with a layer of sliced fresh strawberries and roll it up. I make these the night before and grab it for breakfast or a midmorning snack. I wrap it in plastic wrap and keep it really tight at one end and eat it in the car without any mess! Also you could use a protein powder that you can mix with a cold drink that you can pick up along your way!

@ deathtaco: may I say that bread looks amazing!!

I also use PB2 for breakfast sometimes on low carb bread. But usually a top sirloin that my butcher puts through a tenderizer (no seasoning) and an egg.

Jess, I love having a carb balance tortilla with peanut butter and honey on it...it is great without the honey, too, or with a sugar free jam. Protein shake is great too with spinach and ice mixed in.
