I'm so very frusterated this morning, I'm on day 9 level one of the shred and not only haven't I lost any weight I've gained a pound! (Well I lost a pound and gained two). I have kept tellingmyself that if I just keep pushing through it will happen and not to give up but for some reason this morning something has snapped inside me!
It's been two weeks since I've lost, I'm working my *kitten* off and eating really really well, I was under my calories yesterday but other then that I've hit them everyday, plus some exercise calories.
I'M SO SICK OF THIS!!!! And if it wasn't for my wedding in 3 months I'd be giving up right now!! Part of me just wants to take a break for a day but I'm afraid I won't get back on track.

Give it time! It's only day 9, lol! Besides, many many on here don't lose weight but lose inches. Measure yourself now, then at the end. You're more likely to see results that way.

Are you drinking lots of water?? If you do not drink water your body will hang on to what it does get.

    Good luck!!

    And...... Congrats on your wedding.

Give it time and make sure you are eating enough. Even with exercise, your body will throw itself in starvation mode if you don't eat enough with what you are doing. There are days i have to eat my exercise cals because my body is doing the same thing. Hang in there and don't give up. Remember this is a process. If you keep going your body must eventually give into the process.
  • Don't give into them darn scale...I don't like mine most days either but feel better everyday that I keep at it and I know you will too! Before you know it, you will smiling inside out on your wedding day, congratulations :-)

I hear ya! I was at a stand still for almost 3 wks changed up my routine, pushed harder switched up what I'd been eating and down 6 lbs this week! Plus if you're doing 30DS your muscles could be retaining water to repair themselves, it is completely normal to gain when starting a new routine, I bet it's just water weight. It will catch up give it time, it's taken me 2 yrs to lose 85 lbs. It's a slow process. Be rest assured when you're not losing weight you are still making healthy positive changes!!

    MEASURE YOURSELF !!

I did 30 DS and the weight loss wasn't amazing, but the inches lost, especially around my belly, were fantastic! So don't give up - measure yourself! And then measure again at the end of the Shred and you'll be amazed.

I really wish I had of mesaured at the begining, all my pants are gtting loose but not seeing the scale move is driving me MAD!
  • I think you have right idea with the whole "screw you" to the scale.

Honestly when people say they want to lose weight, I don't think weight is actually the focus, it's size! They want to lose a clothing size or more, not weight, I agree with the others who say you should measure yourself to see results as muscle can take up less space and weigh the same if not more than fat!

Don't give up! And congratulations on your wedding :)
  • Personally, I find that my results are delayed about 2 weeks. Since I've tracked my weight and calories over the years, and I'm a nerd, I've made charts showing long term progress. Sure enough, about two weeks after I start exercising or stop, the scale will show an inverse correlation.

I've lost about 100 lbs and Im at day 460+ Do know how many days Ive weighed in and not lost? This morning I woke up and had gained 4 lbs since my last weigh in 2 weeks ago.

Here is the solid truth. Its not about what day your on. Its about gettign healthy no matter how long it takes. Its about being committed and not letting stupid things keep you from your goals its about not telling yourself lies or listening to that doubt in you head.

Just ignore how long you have been doing it and how much you have lost. Give 110% every time in everything you do. You will get there and some day you will wake up and say holy crap because you just got up out of bad and all your clothes fell off!
