Air Walkers - Gazelle

Hi Everyone!

I have a LifeGear Airwalker (similar to Gazelle) and was wondering how many calories are burned by using it. I can't find it in the exercise search. I am looking for something I can do at home in conjunction with trail bike riding. I need something very low impact due to neck problems. It would be great to use if I can burn enough calories doing it. I've heard it's not that great though for weight loss. It's not new. I've had it a long time and have used it before. I actually find it to be very simple to use. That also makes me think that I'm not burning very many calories while using it. Any ideas on how I can keep track of the calories burned since it's not in the exercise "dictionary"?

Thanks!!!

use a heart rate monitor. seeing how this machine should be considered a cardio workout a HRM should track it fairly accurately.

Gazelle is on the list. Calculate how many you burned and then manually adjust whatever you want to pick from the cardio list of exercises here. :-)

Thank you so much! I went and bought a HRM and I found the Gazelle on the site and added it to the exercises on MFP :)

    Thanks again for your help!!
