Once again...

Ok I just tried commitin suicide at teh gym via elliptical trainer and treadmill. I burnt 709 cals. Now MFP wants me to eat that back... Im not hungry!!!!!! What do i do? I mean it is mid day and yes I will have a meal later on but I highly doubt that it will be a 1500 calorie meal. peek at my diary if you want, lol

  • Maybe have a snack now, something like nuts or peanut butter...good calories plus lots of protein. I'd also try beefing up breakfast and your morning snack if you know you're going to the gym.

    drink them! Have a big glass of chocolate milk and some triscuits with avacado (lol i recommend that snack to everyone)...

    It helps if you pre-plan your exercise at the beginning of the day so then you can eat bigger meals and snacks throughout the day otherwise you would be up all night trying to eat back your workout calories.. :)

    try to have a few extra calories tonight, don't worry about eating that many though.... that is a pretty intense cardio workout, so make sure you have something a little salty too.....
  • You are the best judge of how your body feels. If you don't feel like eating DON"T. I personally don't eat my exersice calories. I'm exersiceing so I lose weight faster. Be proud of your hard workout and know that it is really paying off.

    To me, it seems counter intuitive to force yourself eat when you are not hungry. I would wait a bit and have a small snack, and then eat a healthy dinner and then maybe have another small snack?
