Apples bananas and other similar fruits are great sources or fiber. Same with beans. Just make sure you soak the beans overnight so you don't have the poot poot side effect0

There are some fruits and veggies that have good fiber with low calories. Also some whole grain breads have high fiber and some are not that high in calories.0

Red kidney beans have about 215 calories per cup and provide 16 grams of fiber. That's a pretty good bang for your calorie buck. A cup of sweet corn has fewer calories, but higher carbs and only 3 grams of fiber per cup. Personally, I don't eat corn, except as am ingredient in other foods because it doesn't bring a lot to the party.
One Granny Smith apple, at 80 calories contributes 5 grams of fiber. A cup of raw broccoli has only 30 calories but 2 grams of fiber. A cup of Kashi Go Lean has 140 calories and 10 grams of fiber. Not quite as good as the beans, but we can't eat beans ALL the time, can we?0 -

My mum made these whilst we were at school and we loved them, until we found out what was in them, but they still taste yummy - and they are flour-free which is great
