If you have a smartphone you can use Last.fm, Digitally Imported, Pandora, (and probably several other apps) to stream a variety of music while you work out. I really like last.fm. It turned me on to several bands I would have never otherwise heard of.

Even without a smartphone, you can stream from a computer if you have one near where you work out.

I get all my stuff from emusic.com and today I downloaded 100 songs for 3 bucks. The album was called 100 Hits Cardio workout, and ranges from 80's music to today's hits. And all the songs list what your heart rate will be from 120-160 bpm...

I would probably run really fast if I had this song on repeat, because I would be trying hard to run away from it.

Bullet for My Valentine and Breaking Benjamin are pretty hard rock. I like Depeche Mode and 80s to get me going when I work out - and often like booty music when I work out. Just makes me wanna move. I recommend 50 Cent and Lil Wayne/Drake, maybe some Cash Money Millionaires, Tupac and Biggie. :)
