Erm well being a singleton these days,losing weight and yes starting to get noticed more. I was chuffed to be asked out, spent a pleasant enough evening, chatting and laughing in between some awkward moments.....came time to go, walked me to my car, such a gent.......:embarassed: and then he kissed me:noway: ohhhhh yuk yuk yuk !!!!!!!! Help he want's another date :embarassed:

So you know all those times when you said "no" to foods you like but know aren't good for you....that was practice for dating. Not that I've been in a position to put this into practice yet, but if you don't want another date because of "ohhh yuck yuck yuck" kissing (and who wants to date a bad kisser???) then say no! ;-)

Aw, that sometimes is the hardest part of being a single... saying "No Thank You." I was single until I was 37 and it seemed to be ingrained that I had to accept a date if asked (there were so few to choose from, it seemed counter-intuitive to say no).

One of my friends finally taught me this... The point of dates is to find "Mr. Right." You can't find Mr. Right if you are always on dates with Mr. Right Now or Mr. He's Kind of OK.

) If you don't like him in "that" way, let him go (nicely) and say... NEXT!!!!

Sorry, bad teeth OR a bad kisser is a deal breaker! I actaully gagged in the middle of a kiss once because the other person seemed to think saliva all over my face was sexy! EEEEEWWWWWW... needless to say I never went out with him again. Just tell him you don't think the two of you click and your sorry but you don't feel you should go out again. Hopefully he will be a gentelman and accept that.

My opinion.
You shouldn't have kissed him, if you were not that interested. By returning a kiss, he's going to assume you were interested in him.
or were you interested in him up until the kiss (you did say you had some awkward moments)
Next time he contacts you for another date.

Politely say your not interested, and/or you started dating someone else, and leave it at that.

Bad kisser usually equals poor lover........ lol!

Unless he is a fantastic companion, interested in you, hangs on your every word and is the kindest, most generous gentleman ever.......then I'd pass!

You could put it down to nerves and give it another go just to be sure, lol!

Peter just to clarify, I usually greet and leave a friend with a kiss to each cheek, however he planted a kiss on my mouth and clearly wanted a good ole snogging session, i pulled back and said goodnight, perhaps next time i should just shake hands:laugh:
