I am a serial night eater. I know I am not the only one. My willpower will last me for a few days say like 4 or 5. Then it happens.... 8pm and my fiance is asleep on the couch to tired to say Emily are you sure you want to do that, then my mind says......*emily you should eat those almonds in there you want something salty* after that *emily now you need something sweet cause that was too salty* and then *Mmmm melted cheese on a tortilla* and then *definitely need something else sweet now* well you get the idea, BAM downward spiral of chaotic eating and shame. Now I know all the advice and I have tried it all, Gum, Water, veggies, popsicles, brush your teeth ......well short of wiring my jaw shut nothing consistently works. The thing that really irks me is that I am a super super healthy eater and do great ALL DAY.....just to F#@$ it up that night. So I take the calories off the next day and eat less is it horrible to do this? Will this completely screw up my metabolism, or is it ok since I over did it the night before? I don't overeat every night mostly just every 6 days or so.

I'm the same way. I'm blaming it on the full moon that's coming next week.

Keep track of all your extra calories. Plan a work out to burn thoses calories. You will so find out that you will need two hours at the gym to burn those calories.

Get up and go to the gym, at night. You can't get if your not home.

Same thing happens to me, but for me it;s when I get home from work at 4:00, my husband is sleeping because he works nights, and I do the exact same thing. Sweet-salty-sweet-salty. I don't think there is a cure, just pure will power. Good luck to all
