Seriously, I go to walmart to buy a shirt for my 11 yo's piano recital tomorrow and she advises me she needs a bra. Is this part of Dad duty?

I think it's wonderful that she feels so comfortable with you that she's having you take her. That's beautiful father/daughter relationship. Kudos to you!

Indulge her and go training bra shopping!

  Reminds me of the time my son needed a sports cup. Being a single parent, I had to take him to buy one. :blushing: I had no idea how to get the correct size.  Not sure what we got but we got something.

Dixie cups and some string??
  • Awww...you should be happy she wants to include you. Most would rather go with their mom or friends. If your lost, it might be a good idea to look up how to size bras and get her measurements before you get there. Or you could go to a place that will measure her. Victoria's Secret and most department stores will do it for you. Have fun.

So sports cup sized are based on underwear size for future reference. My daughter knew her size fortunately. Mom lives in south Texas, we live in west Texas a 9 hour drive to purchase the bra for tomorrow's recital is out of the question.

Just take her to a store and let the nice saleslady help her find a bra. Then, you pay the cashier.

    How was pedicure day?
