Funny Things We Do

To make it seem like I am eating more, I always eat my dessert (or other sweet snack) with one of my daughters baby food spoons. I also use her plates sometimes for meals, to trick myself into thinking there is more food there.

Anybody else have some funny things they do while counting calories??

I find myself tearing "hand foods" into smaller pieces.

I have heard that eating off of BLUE plates actually lessons appetite.

I eat off a small plate every meal. I feel like I get more because my plate is full :)

If I'm treating myself to some Reese's Pieces, I'll suck on one until the candy coating breaks and then suck on the filling. Weird, I know but by the time I have 10 to 15 of them, it's taken me so long to eat them I'm satisfied and don't want anymore.
