This is my 1000th post here.

There. I just had to get that out of the way, because otherwise, it would have felt so anticlimactic to spend the 1000th post just telling somebody that yes, it's ok to eat more.

Edit: a typo in my 1000th post. totally fitting, as there seemed to be a typo in each of the previous 999 as well.
