Tracking Calories for 30 day Shred

Hi Everyone,

I got the 30 day shred from Netflix to try it out before buying it. I was planning on starting today. I don't have an HRM yet, so I'm kind of lost on how many calories get burned during the workout.

I searched for "30 day shred" and "Jillian Michaels" under exercises, and nothing came up. Should I be looking for something else?

    I had someone tell me to put it under circuit training under Cardio it works out to 400cal, thoughts anyone????

    Hmmm I see most people log it as Circuit Training

    I use a HRM, because from day to day your mileage may vary. Average burn is about 280 calories.
  • Log it under circuit training for 20-21 minutes that was spot on with my Hrm.

    At 5'2" 132lbs I have HRM and I burn approx 250 cal for 25 min of 30 day shred...when I do 20 min zumba abs with it; I usually total around 500 cal for 45 Min workout

    You can do it as circuit training (but only count the actual 18 minutes of working out, NOT the warm-up, cool-down). For level one, it wasn't too difficult for me, so I actually split it into the minutes of strength training, aerobics & abs to get lower calories, as I didn't really feel I burned as much as circuit training gave me....
