Pre Run Energy Boost

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anybody has any good ideas for a pre-run or workout energy boost. I try to work out within an hour of getting out of a long 6 hour day in a kitchen so it's tempting for me to just crawl into bed and skip exercising. I'm looking for something small, low cal and NOT a drink or powder. Any ideas??

  • Some things I like are celery with peanut butter, a lowfat yoghurt or a banana.

    If I am hungry I will eat half of a whole wheat english muffin with half a T. of peanut butter. If I am not hungry but am going to be working out for awhile I take something like FSR chews.
