Hey all. I just got a smart phone and was looking for a calorie counter app and found this one.
How cool is it that I can just scan the item.
I'm thinking that this is going to be an awesome tool to use.
I just got an elliptical and a mountain bike and now this. I'm really to shed the pounds.
Weighing in at 228 and looking for a goal weight of 160 when ever. Hoping to loose between5-10 lbs a month.
I'm going to be 40 in June and I'm tired of waking up every morning feeling fat, ugly, and old.
(I'm told on a regular basis that I'm not, tell my esteem that).
Good luck everyone.

Good luck! I, too, am on a weight loss mission.
I weigh 216 and plan on losing 75-80 pounds by year end. 2 pounds a week.
This site is a GREAT tool for logging your caloric intake and excerise.
Be sure to calculate your BMR - then there is no way you can fail.
Calculate your BMR, then multiply the number by 7 (for 7 days in the week)
minus 7,000 from that total (a pound weighs 3500, so two pounds weigh 7,000)
take that new total and divide it by 7 - you now have your caloric daily maximum if you want to lose 2 pounds a week!0
