hey guys!! So I dunno about you but I am TIRED of dreading summer do to the reveling clothes. There is way too much pressure to have the "perfect" bathing suit body, especially for woman. Why is it SO wrong if a plus sized lady chooses to wear a bikini? Plus size men can wear just swim trunks and no one thinks anything of it. So I'm saying SCREW IT to what people think this summer and worrying about what I'M comfortable with, and I suggest the same for anyone else (not that you have to wear a bikini, but wear what makes you feel prettiest).
anyways, I didn't mean to rant!! Just wondering what all the lovely ladies (and men too) are planning on wearing! I may get a new suit but I already have two from last summer that I like, a black monokini (my favorite) and a bikini (yellow top, black bottom) I don't have any pics but I may post some later, I dunno.

i have two: one for actual swimming and one for tanning, haha! the one i use for tanning is strapless and plain black. the other one is a plain black halter (black makes me look wayyy tanner than i am!)
i need a new suit though, both of them are like 4 years old. i just have a huge chest, which makes it hard to find things that fit.0 -

I just reached my goal of 145lbs at 5'9". I went form a size 14 to a size 8. With excitement, I went bathing suit shopping looking for two pieces where the top covers the bottom a little bit. I could only fit an XL.. Looked good, but I have to remember to stop focusing on the tags.

I haven't owned or worn a bathing suit in 9 years and the only reason I had one then was to help with my sons swimming class at the Y. I do not swim and may never wear a bathing suit again. That is just me because I don't want to see myself in a bathing suit. There is no way I would subject other people to that! :bigsmile:0

In my experience it doesn't matter if you're a size 2 or a size 26, or if you're wearing a barrel with straps or Chanel. If you have confidence and think that you look good, 99% of people will think the same. The other 1% are too busy worrying about themselves to pay attention to anything else.0

I just bought a super cute bikini top that I want to wear over the summer! I don't have any photos of it yet but I'm excited to show it off soon =D0

I rocked this last year! But minus the polka dots. Those criss-cross straps are a GOD SEND! I'm a DD and they held my girls down through a 50' scuba diving trip!
This year, I've been rocking this one. Amazingly, the pink actually makes me look tanned (I'm not!).
