It probably isnt the water - but maybe an increase in protien eaten... Do you like Crystal lite???? The single serve packs are the only thing that lets me get my water in!

It's probably your body telling you it needs more. I used to have that problem too. I just upped my intake.

If you really can't stand it, it's just like Olasmom said. Crystal lite helps with the taste. After awhile you'll learn to drink water plain. Just ween yourself onto it.

Try Mio liquid water enhancer ... similar to Crystal lite, but 0 cals and tastes GREAT ! Much easier to get those 8 cups of H2O in !!!

I also hate water and have noticed the same problem. When I drink plain water my mouth gets dry, but when I use Crystal Light or other powder packs similar to that then I don't have that problem.

In my case I don't think this is true. Because even if I'm on my 9th glass it still occurs (not counting my intake of coffee, tea, or soup). So I'm getting plenty but it still happens. Just a thought. I don't know.

That's so funny you mentioned that! I was just thinking that yesterday when I was drinking water. I've been uping my water so much but lately it feels like my throat is so dry and sometimes I have to even swallow hard. I thought maybe it was because my body is getting used to so much that now it needs more and more???? Just trying to figure that one out! :) I've cut a lot of sugar out of my diet that I used to get. Does sugar make you not so dry? hahaha I don't know. :)
Then I thought maybe it was the clorine or whatever is used in tap water that was irritating my throat since I'm drinking it constantly? I don't know, you got me! :) I should switch to bottled for a day and see if the dry throat thing is still there. Hmmmm.....
Doesn't feel like a sore throat, just really dry like you need more and more water. Strange.

OMG I cant even imagine not liking water! I cant get enough of it! Its soooooooooooooo refreshing!!!!!!

Have any of you tried to cut up lemon or cucumber and put it in a pitcher of water? I do that in the summer and it gives the water a really nice fresh taste. Also adds flavor naturally for those of you who dont like it, rather than getting artificial chemicals from flavorings..........just a thought!
