Hello everyone...new girl trying this website to be my extra eyes on how I am trying to lose weight. My ultimate goal is 50-60 lbs, to feel my best...but I am starting off small hoping for a 10 lbs weight loss in 10 weeks! I am 35 years old, have always been althetic, have a set of twins, going to be 7 years old soon. I guess thats when it all happened...bcoming a mom and forgetting about myself. I got married at about 10lbs above my goal weight, so I would like to get to my good ol' 150-155 lbs and feel fantastic. I have a weight buddy...my golden retriever she needs to lose weight too, so we are walking together each day, 45 min, 5 days a week. I am sure I am like most moms out there...little ones come into the world and we forget all about ourselves because they are our main focus! Well my little ones are now turning 7, and its time I get my self feeling good again about me....so I am making a change TODAY April 18th to be a better me. I know if I feel better, about how i Look, it will reflect in how i feel. I know they say that doesnt always make a person feel better, but I know making 45 minutes for myself to exerise will make me feel better, and slowly, the weight will come off....so heres hoping this is a new start and a successful one!!!! Wish me luck!!!!

I too am a mom. I have 3 little active boys ages 4, 2, 1. Long story short, we went from 0 kids to 3 in 12 months. So I TOTALLY forgot about myself and dove in as mommy. We adopted our older 2, and I had a baby all in the same year. Now that everyone is mobile and running around, its time I get back to "ME" Oh, that and we'd like 1 more, if its in God's Plan! So either way, losing weight nd feeling good about who I am will reflect positively on my kids and husband.
You'll do great!!!! Make it about you!0 -

I so understand what you mean! My daughter will be 12 in May and since having her I have definitely gone on the back burner for priorities!! I didn't gain a ton of weight and some stressful stuff over the apst couple eyars has made me put on a few lbs. I am aiming at losing at least 32 lbs which will get me back down to a weight I was about 3 years ago. I did it then through exercise but I didn't change my eating habits. Trying to do that now along with the exercise this time! Life style change for sure!! So far so good! Only 19 lbs left to go! I used to do karate 3 times a week as well as kickboxing class once a week. Trying to get all those muscles and flexibility back again! Not so easy at 41!! Good luck on your journey!!!!!!!! Sending a friend request your way!0
