Sort of new and would love some friends

Hi! My name is Vicky and I have actually been a member on this site for a month but have not really gotten myself to really log my food and exercise. I am hoping that with some motivation through friends on the site that I can finally lose the weight that I need to lose.
I am a former gymnast and current runner as well as a full time graduate student on my way to getting my doctorate in physical therapy. I recently have had some medical problems that required me to go on a medication which caused depression and thus weight gain due to eating to try and improve my mood. I stopped the medication and my mood is much improved and I am now ready to lose that weight I gained while on the medication. I believe this site will be a good way for me to keep myself accountable and get healthy and fit!
