ab ripper x question

I got to do ab ripper x today with my HRM for the first time tonight.
Now, before I had been logging it under vigorous calesthenics for 15 minutes, which gave me a 116 calorie burn. I figured that was pretty on the money just because the work out is pretty hard, and I do everything, full reps.
When I got done, i looked at my HRM and it said I burned a whopping 44 calories.
REALLY?? 44 WHOLE calories?! And after taking out 15 for my resting calories, thats a total of 29 calories.
What's the deal? My heart rate stayed between 85-100, and 100 was a STRETCH.
Was it so low because I don't find it so challenging?
Or is it because, everytime I lay down my heart rate drops down about 15-20 bpms?
My chest strap is on perfect and I have a Polar FT4.
Is there something wrong? Anyone have their burn for the exercise?
Help, please! lol

I wouldn't worry too much about the fact that you don't burn many calories. You will see amazing results from ab ripper x if you do it consistently. You may want to start tracking your inches. Good luck :flowerforyou:0

I have a Polar FT4 and I burn around 85 calories doing Ab Ripper X.
Did you wet the sensors on the chest strap?0 -
Yeah. I did everything right!
I think you weigh less than I do, and you burn more that me, how lame!
I am honestly thinking it may have something to do with my low blood pressure.
Standing my average bpm is around 60-70.
Laying down it's in the 50s.
Not sure if thats normal or not compared to otheres.0
