my journey..so far :)

So I feel like I needed to post something about the progress I have made. :)

-I made my decision to join the air force about a month ago.

-I joined MFP about 3 weeks ago.

-The first week of my weight loss journey I just got used to the whole eating healthy and tracking my calories

-2nd week until now, I have been visiting the gym at the least 3 times a week and I have been playing tennis at least twice a week.

-Every Morning I weigh myself.. It keeps me motivated!

-I have told others about MFP, and they have told me I am an inspiration to them. That makes me want to succeed even more!

In this short amount of time I have lost 8 pounds!

Im so excited for the next few months for all this weight to melt off of me!

~Thanks for reading

Great job so far! It's nice to see results. I just started this MFP yesterday and I'm hoping it'll help me actually stick to working out and eating well. I hope I can post great results after a few weeks like you have. Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm ex service and although this may sound like a no brainer..

You need to work on running 1.5 - 2 miles and doing pushups/situps

You'd be surprised at how well you can do other exercise stuff , but old school stuff sets your body on fire.

Here is the chart for women under 30

    http://www.airforce-pt.com/Female30.html

    The main site

    http://www.airforce-pt.com/

AC Composition is your waistline in inches...

Setup a test and see how you do on the chart. That will give you a good idea of where you will be at the start of basic training. Work on it now and you can be a PT monster and win the PT awards and get extra privledges....

Tennis is great, but you won't be playing alot of tennis in the near future....
