Stay the course...don't lose faith. Give yourself a chance to develop the mindset that will motivate you to lose weight. Don't
defeat yourself before you've had a good start.0 -
Seeing some really good advice here. Here's my 2 cents:
-Drink more water. Counterintuitive, but staying well hydrated means you'll retain less water. Bye bye bloat!
-Look for lower sodium options. Food manufacturers are starting to realize what a huge problem this is, and often you can find lower sodium versions of things from canned beans to cottage cheese.
-Definitely avoid processed foods. Sodium content through the roof.
Great job on your workouts! Don't doubt how much good you're doing your body.0 -
Buy fresh veggies instead of frozen and steam them yourself. Alternatively, Bird's Eye also makes steamfresh veggies (the one's with no sauce) with little to no sodium that are frozen and very tasty for a quick veggie fix.
great advice. this will definitely help your sodium intake. and stay away from anything processed (turkey sticks) etc, things that have a long shelf life is filled with chemicals and sodium.
and lots of H20 as well. just a few tweaks and your sodium will go down0
