The morning of February 16th I woke up with such utter distain for body that I knew something had to give, and I didnt mean my belt! I was not obese or anything, just ectremely unhappy. I began working out 6-7 days a week at 6am doing an hour or more of cardio and haven’t stopped since. When I reached my plateau (that lasted for 5 weeks) I decided I would give working out a rest for a week and sure enough I broke through it....FINALLY!
I am still 10 pounds or so away from where I want to be but I am proud of how far i've come so I thought I would post this anyway.
PS, Still very unhappy with my belly, IT WON’T GO AWAY!

You look absolutlely stunning!! Just keep up the cardio, I promise you will loose that belly fat. No such thing as localized fat loss (i.e. crunches).

The belly will get smaller. Women tend to hold on to weight around that area. I'm struggling with it myself, left over "flab" from 2 kids! I know its getting smaller, but there is still the mush that sneaks over the top of my pants (ugh). Stick with it, its only been 2 months! You look great!0

I too have always had a belly since I was a skinny child. In addition to cardio are you doing daily crunches? I would think that strengthening the muscles underneath the fat abs can help. Well, actually it does help, even at the weight I'm at now. I'm doing this dvd:

It has a bunch of 8 & 9 min ab workouts on it that are short but killer. You'll be screamin' with them. I think they're great though. I don't feel I can do it every day - too sore and I'd like to at some point. Cardio gets the fat off, but strengthening up certain areas I think works too.0 -
