when you first start losing weight, where do you see it first?
all my weight is mainly in my tummy and it doesn't seem like i'm seeing it there at all.

Boobs for me :huh: , I hold my weight in my legs and butt....I always notice it there last:grumble:0

Every woman is different in that department. Before I had kids, I held my weight in my thighs. Since having them, it seems to be sticking around my midsection more. I noticed my weight loss first in my thighs & hips this time. It'll come off. Just keep working at it! The body losses where the body wants to lose, kwim?0

i lose in my face first because i have chunky cheeks so you notice it there first- everything starts thining out except my chucky cheeks lol0 -
Same, I've noticed the boobs and butt for me - tummy not so much yet!
Your body will burn away the fat that is easiest to burn first, once that is gone it will have no where else to take from and start burning in the areas where you hold the most weight.
A co-worker of mine told me something pretty interesting - and this is coming from his doctor. The reason why it's so important to drink at least 64 oz of water a day is because it flushes out your liver. If you have a clean liver, than your liver will start breaking down the fatty tissue surrounding it a.k.a "the spare tire". I never knew that until he told me that and thought it was pretty interesting! :bigsmile:0 -
I noticed a change in my face immediately, and then my thighs started to recede. Following that, my butt and belly. Then everything kinda shrank simultaneously. Amazing.0

The last place my weight comes of are in my thunder thighs. :sad: Everywhere else pretty much comes off equally.0

I first noticed in in my ummmmmmmmm chest :blushing: My bras were getting loose......then my face...and finally starting to notice in my stomache and the back fat is slowly disappearing :drinker:0

I first saw it in my face, collarbone area and boobs (i think so many see it in the boobs beceause bras fit so snugly... so any minor change there is going to be noticed. It depends on 1) where you store your fat 2)how long you have been big in a particular area and 3) where your body has easiest access to the fat. If fyou recently put on weight in your tummy it will likely be the first to go, whereas if you have always been big in the tummy it will likely be the last thing to go (as per me and my giant thighs :grumble: )0

I am noticing it more in my thighs and my waist. Its a small change, but a change just the same!:drinker:0

I hold most of my weight in my tummy, too.
So far I can really see it in my face, my legs/butt, and maybe my back, too. Tummy has lost a teeny bit, but so not going like I want it too!
I've been told cardio is the best way to get rid of it... so I'm doing my cardio cuz I am really so done with the big tummy issue!0 -
Don't forget to do your strength training too - the more lean muscle you have the more fat will be burned!0

Hey girly, PurdyMommy here! I told ya already but here goes again.. i also carry my weight in my belly sooo I lost mine all first in my face, neck, legs, & MY BELLY! Just keep workin it girl. You will see a loss! Your belly will shrink! hehe So how ya been?0

yeah my boyfriend keeps telling me when he sees me work out that he can tell my legs and face are getting smaller, but my tummy is not....which bites the big one.
i'm down to 196 now but i still think it looks like i'm still at 211.0 -
Mine is for sure in the boobs all the time I don't have much there but it is always the first and my face.
I want it to leave the tummy area thats where it is most noticable, thats where I gained all the weight is in my tummy.0 -
After 9 months of this I am finally starting to see my tummy slim. And I was even taking an abs class 2 times a week that whole time. It differs from person to person. But stick with it, you'll get there!0

Why is it that my already small boobs get smaller! You don't have to answer that!
I come from a family that gains in the belly and keeps it. Last March I looked pregnant! Spring came and I upped my cardio. I was walking 5 days a week, about 40 min. each day. I started the couchto5k. I did it 3 days a week, still walked the other 2. I also do weights for upper body on the run days. That is when I noticed a difference in the belly going away. I looked better at 120 than I previously did at 115.
Since I am back on the treadmill for winter I've changed my 3 day routine. I still do 3 mi. but mix the weights into it. Walk, run, walk, weights, walk, run, walk, weight.......

I think the first place I lose weight is my chest :grumble: and upper torso area. The last to go is my spare tire and thighs. *Sigh* That's unfortunate.0

Some pretty smart people (like songbyrdsweet, banks....) have said that we all have a "problem area" some people have the thighs/hips, some people have the mid-section as their problem area.
For instance, if you are a "pear" shape - you will lose the weight LAST in the hips/thighs. If you are an "apple" shape - you will lose the weight LAST in the mid-section. And apparently if you are a woman - according to this thread.....you will lose it in the "girls" first. WAH. I have extra in the "girls" department - - if anyone wants 'em....0 -
I think your shape and genetics affect it too. I have some native in my family history and I noticed that people with native heritage tend to keep it in their tummy area quite a bit. But eventually my belly will be all gone hopefully :bigsmile:0

My boobs And boy would I like those back. The smaller my boobs get, the bigger my belly looks
I carry most of my weight in my stomach and back. My arms and legs have gotten pretty lean since I've been eating healthy and working out. I can see biceps and quads without flexing:drinker: Unfortuantely, I still look like the Michelin Man in the middle:grumble:0 -

:mad: Same here!! I've gone from a pants size 16-18 to (now) a size 4, but my boobs are still double d's. WTH??? The band size did decrease (36 to 32) but not the frickin' cup size. Hubby, however, has nooooooo complaints. LIttle brat - he doesn't have to deal with wardrobe issues! :laugh:0 -
I always loose it in my boobs too i was a 44 ddd and now I am a 36 d I still have a big belly but as you can see I have lost in my waist but my belly is still big but it is smaller than it was!!!0
