Fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean meats and low fat dairy. And lots and lots of water. No processed foods, no refined sugar, no artificial sweeteners.0

Broccoli
sugar snap peas (good for snacking)
red peppadew peppers (they're very small and I stuff them with creamy goat cheese), one of my favorite snacks!
Plums
frozen mixed berries for smoothies
Hershey's unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
Fage fat free plain yogurt
honey
lots of herbal tea (no calories, and warm tea helps curb appetite) Try Good Earth Sweet & Spicy Herbal. Very strong cinnamony flavor
chopped walnuts (limit to 2 tbsp per serving). Toast any nut before eating, it really brings out the flavor.
Salmon.

For a great snack raw almonds are one of my favorites.0

Frozen shrimp in the freezer ( I get a big bag at costco)! You can put it in most things for your protein, soups, taco's, on top of rice, etc. Its nice to have for a quick meal.0

Original oatmeal! No sodium, and tons of good stuff. I mix a half scoop of protein powder, blueberries and some cinnamon-yum! Also, spinach and salmon. Those are my three super foods.0

Beans, almonds, spinach, fish, broccoli, tomatoes!! Fruits are great as it is a natural sugar. Trader Joe's carries these great little whole wheat pita minis that are great to toast or have with a sandwich.....Ground turkey!0

I LIKE TO EAT ALL DIFFERENT THINGS, IF YOU GET BORED EATING YOU WON'T STICK TO IT. 1ST THING IS TRY NEW THINGS, EVEN IF YOU NEVER LIKED IT BEFORE. ANYTHING YOU CAN GET THAT COMES IN SUGAR FREE IS A GREAT CHOICE. FAT FREE IS ANOTHER BUT BE SURE TO LOOK AT THE CALORIE CONTENT TOO. I LOVE ALL KINDS OF VEGGIES, FRESH FROM A GARDEN IS BEST. TRY BROCCOLI, SQUASH, CABBAGE, CARROTS, SUGAR PEAS,AND WITH ALL THESE VEGGIES YOU CAN THROW IN A ONION AND BELL PEPPER, AND STIR FRY IT IN OLIVE OIL AND EAT IT LIKE THAT OR THROW OVER SOME WHOLE WHEAT NOODLES OR BROWN RICE. MEATS IS EASY I LIKE TO BEAT ALL THE MEATS I EAT WITH A GOOD MEAT HAMMER, THEN I CUT THE MEAT INTO 2 OR 3 PIECES AND MAKE ONE OF THOSE PIECE MY SERVING SIZE, A CHICKEN BREAST POUND OUT MAKE 3 NICE BIG PIECES I GET 3 MEALS OFF ONE BREAST AND I DO THE SAME WITH A THIGH. A PORK CHOP BECOMES 2 CHOPS. BEEN DOING THIS WITH THE FAMILY'S MEALS TOO AND NO ONE NOTICED THAT THEY ARE EATING LESS MEAT. HELPS ON THE FOOD BILL TOO. TRY BUYING A BOTTLE OF LIQUID SMOKE AND PUTTING SOME ON YOUR MEAT AND BAKING YOUR MEAT COVERED UNTIL TENDER THEN UNCOVER TO BROWN. I EAT CHICKEN, FISH, PORK CHOPS, PORK STEAK, BEEF STEAK(CHUCK), CHUCK ROAST. FOR BREAKFAST I MAKE A YUMMY CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE CHIP WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKE, I MAKE 12 AT A TIME AND EAT ONE THEN WRAP THE OTHERS AND HIND THEM IN THE FREEZER, REHEAT IN MICROWAVE FOR 1:30 AND IT'S LIKE STRAIGHT FROM THE PAN. ALSO LOVE SWITCHING UP AT LEAST 2 TIMES A WEEK TO A EGG WHITE OMELET ADD 1 TEASPOON OF MUSTARD TO YOUR WHITES AND YOU WON'T MISS THE YOLK. A SALAD OF LETTUCE, TOMATO, CUCUMBER, AND SHREDDED CARROTS WITH RANCH THEN THROW IN SOME IMITATION CRAB IS VERY GOOD. I BUY CAN FRUITS AND MAKE 4 SERVING SIZES OUT OF A CAN AND ADD ONE OF THE SERVING SIZES TO MY MEAL HERE AND THERE, WATCH THE AMOUNT OF CALS AND SUGAR WHEN BUYING CANNED FRUITS. I GAVE UP ON CANNED VEGGIES MOST HAVE "WAY TOO MUCH SALT IN THEM"" IF YOU LIKE FRIED BUT NOT THE DEEP FAT CALORIES, TRY BATTER MEAT WITH EGG WHITES AND MUSTARD AND THEN PASS THOUGH WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR THEN THROW IN PAN WET WITH OLIVE OIL AND BAKE COVERED UNTIL TENDER THEN UNCOVER, FLIP AND BAKE UNCOVERED FOR A FEW MORE MINS TILL BOTH SIDES ARE BROWNED. FAMILY LOVES OVEN FRIED FOODS. MAKE SOME TURKEY MEATBALL IN RED SAUCE THROW OVER SOME WHOLE WHEAT PASTA USE DIFFERENT HERBS AND FRESH ONES WHOLE NEW TASTE. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEWHAT. GOOD LUCK WITH ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS!! FAYE G.0
