Getting ready for Mexico.

Just getting started. Need a lot of motivation. Love to exercise, hate to diet!!

  • Don't think of it as dieting. Just pay attention to the number of calories that you are eating. I still eat foods that I enjoy I am just eating less (but I'm never hungry). Make sure you are getting fruits and vegetables, etc... watch your sodium and sugar but still include foods that you like. I have never been able to "diet" but this site makes it much easier. You will be suprised once you start tracking the food.

    Don't diet. Don't eat a planned diet by someone else. Check the calories on the foods you like (just make healthy choices that please you), then let this calorie counter educate you. Also this should be long term so don't expect to be totally successful immediately, you can do it, good luck. FG

    Welcome!
    Part of my motivation was my March trip to Mexico. I lost 17 pounds before I left (started in November). It felt great to be in a bathing suit and being semi-in-shape.
