So I started my new eating habits on 29th March 2011
Starting weight was 291.5lbs (132.5kg)
My Goal weight is 226.5lbs (103kgs)
Am taking it a stone (14lbs) at a time

To allow myself to fall off the wagon early on, or to adapt to eating better and sneak in those treats, my goal was to lose my first 14lbs by 25th May 2011.

I only weigh myself once a week, and hide my scales up in between so i'm not jumping on them 4 times a day

Weighed myself this morning, 3 weeks after satarting and only hvaing 1200kcals a day, and im down by 14.5lbs already!
Now i understand that the majority of that is water weight but a colelague at work today actually came into my office and said, in front of people, that she noticed my jeans are loose on the bum! really made me smile that someone else claims to have noticed :o)

I have a long way to go BUT 14lbs is, after all, 14lbs :o)

Well done you, that is a remarkable achievment in 3 weeks, whether it's water or not, as you say, 14 lbs is 14 lbs, keep up the good work :drinker:

    SO PROUD OF YOU~

I had to hide my scale too otherwise I was ALWAYS weighing myself and thought this isn't healthy for my mind so I took the scale away. Its hard not seeing how well your doing but its better in the long run. I think as long as I know I am trying and doing my best I will get to my goal little by little. I don't need huge numbers to make me diet or to keep going I just need to know that I am losing a little at a time.

    GOOD JOB!
