TWEENERS 11/09

Ok, kind of new at this (it's my first week as a "Tweener"). I have tried looking back at some past Tweener posts to see what kind of challenges have been given. There has been: Exercise, water, nuts, dairy, and veggies I think.
Well I think it is time to get back to exercise. My challenge this week is.......Do something fun. For at least one day this week and all if them if you can, get off your treadmill or bike, let your Turbo Jammer or P90X dvd have a rest and get out and do something fun. I am not saying don't do these things at all but just change it up a bit. Go swimming, play racket ball, indoor soccer, go dancing etc. Last night we went to a Guy Fox celebration and I ended up pulling kids around most of the night on a tobogin. I had a blast and got a REALLY good workout at the same time.
Unfortunately I don't know how to post links to threads so this is it unless someone takes pitty on me and tells me how. I will check in again later tonight or tomorrow to see if anyone lets me know if I've done this wrong.:embarassed:

Looks GREAT tookie, I just placed a link in the old thread for them to find this one in the morning, hope I wasn't to forward in doing that....just wanted you to be able to go get some sleep and not stress out about all this.

Not feeling so this this morning Tweeners! I hope I am not getting sick - we have a big weekend ahead - the only weekend each year that me and hubby are by ourselves at the beach.

This weeks challenge will be great, I'm looking forward to it, and this time, maybe I can get my kids involved.

Good afternoon TWEENERS, I hope your Monday is treating you well. I am sad to say I started what should be a great challenge and I don't know if I can do it now. My 4yr old came down w/ a fever last night and I have been trying to get rid of a terrible headache since 6 this morning. Two Tylenol #3 and it is still hanging on.....I think we are getting a flu:sad: . Dear lord I hope it is only a 1-2 day thing.
Any way I wish you all the best this week and keep up with your water and greens as well.:drinker:0 -

Stayed within my calories yesterday - didn't get all my water, ate dairy-Laughing Cow Light Swiss, greens....mixed veggies, walked thru the mall for over an hour for some exercise, ate 1 oz of almonds...
Will get the water today....
I was feeling pretty sick yesterday but seem to be better today. I really thought the flu was creeping up on me. I felt like I was going to pass out - was dizzy nauseous, clammy hot, cold....wonder if I am deficient on something - I will start taking a daily vitamin to see if that helps.
While at the mall last night, I had to buy a 14 in a top (formerly 18 or 20) and 2 sizes smaller in pants - that felt sooooooo good!

Alright Im in. I did the 30day shred lastnight and today im going to do the wii fit. Its fun exercise and you can burn lots of calories. The lastime I workedout on it i burned about 500 calories in a 1/2hr. :drinker:0

Good morning everyone - anyone still out there?!?!??!?!?
Hope you are having a great week. Even after last weeks travels I managed to lose 6/10 of a pound-little more than half - we'll see how I do this week as I am going to the beach with just me and hubby for the weekend.0 -
Hello Tweeners, I hope you are all enjoying the challenge and keeping up on the other essentials, water, greens etc.
I have not done so well, I have the same cold my kids have and just really feel like garbage. In the past two days I've eaten 1/2 a bowl of soup, 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwich, some penne /w 1meat ball, and a ceasar salad, I know it's not good for me but I am too tired to make the effort and anytime I've tried someone needs a bum change, nose wipe, feeding or a cuddle. Add in laundry and dishes (I do not have a dishwasher so it's all still by hand) I am pooped. As soon as I finish this I am taking my cold medication and going to bed!!
Oh that is a lie I did play a rousing game of Simon Says with the kids yesterday. That was fun.0 -
Well Good Morning Everyone!!
So, I guess I haven't been doing too great this week.
I've tried to get my greens, but only had them 1 or 2 days
my dairy, everyday
my nuts, everyday
and my water, not as much as I normally do (I kinda got into diet coke again:blushing:) .
I've chased my children around the house tickling the heck out of them (that really is a workout)
So, there it is, my not-so-good check in for the week, so far...:frown:0 -
Well it looks like MsNewBooty is the one on the ball this week. So she gets to pick the next challenge. Maybe it's just that the rest of us are sick.
