Hello All!

Well, I'm here to do what we are all here to do - lose some weight. I've been using the site for a couple of days and really enjoy the tools available to track my information. Reading some of the posts and blogs have kind of cracked me up - I tend to have a twisted take on things around me so it's really nice to see others take a trip down the dark side too.

I'm 5'1 (and a half) and am looking to lose 90 lbs. Wow. That number really hurts to see and acknowledge. I don't think my niece and nephew combined weigh that much! It's definitely one thing to know the number but then change the subject in your head, huh? So, it's GAME ON people! I've started my new meal plan, been walking during my lunch break and in the evenings, and start up the work-out gimmick this week.

Best of luck to all!

Welcome! I know 90 pounds seems like a lot, but it's all relative. (I have about 120 to lose) You'll get there! It sounds like you've already made the right steps with tracking your food intake and working on increasing your exercise levels. Good luck! :drinker:

Juliebean_1027 is right: it is all relative. Great to see you are already enjoying this site! People are wonderful and encouraging! This is the first sight I log on to every morning and the last one I leave at night.

I will send you a friend request - exercise and diet are always better with accountability!

Welcome! The first way to tackle any problem is to identify what it is. When I first logged on I guessed I was 225. When I actually stepped on a scale a week later, it was actually 234. huge wake up call. Good luck with your journey! we are all here for you.

Thanks ladies! You're right it's all relative - even though it seems like a big goal to me, someone else has a more difficult challenge. Great to see so much positive feedback across the board and looking forward to the journey!
