Suggestions for protein

Just looking for suggestions on meals high in protein and low in carbs that are easy to make.
Eample:
-steak and eggs
-omeletts with ham, onions, cheese and roasted peppers
-tuna fish with egg, relish, and mustard (yes it took time to get used to mustard in it but it really cuts out calories that tuna with mayo has)
-lean hamburger meat patties made with with some crushed up melba toast, chopped onion and Lipton onion soup mix
I would really like to find more ways to incorporate chicken breast into meals

I like cooking my chicken with franks red hot.
Then throwing it on a salad (mainly a bed of lettuce)
with some fat free ranch.
Something new to try.0 -
I like to make shredded chicken and then that can be used on anything..Salads, brown rice and veggies, lettuce wraps, tacos, etc...
But then again I very rarely make chicken because I am picky about the texture of it.0 -
chicken breast pretty much goes with anything. top it with some hot sauce like suggested earlier or salsa. throw it on a salad or in a wrap. or add it to a can of soup.
for something quick i like the single serving frozen meals from M&Ms. they're pretty low calorie and then i'll add a chicken breast to them to up the protein content.0 -
Chicken fajitas with lots of peppers and some taco or fajita seasoning is really good and low cal. My husband also loves turkey burgers-I mix in fat free catalina, lipton onion soup mix, mrs. dash and some onion and garlic powder. The catalina dressing keeps them from drying out too much and you can substitute bbq sauce if you want. The mix is really sloppy so cook well on the first side before turning and then they will stay together good. Good luck!:flowerforyou:0
