Water Consumption

When you track your water consumption, do you only log clear water consumed? If you drink several cups of tea daily, do you add the hot water from the tea to your water consumption? I really don't like plain water, so I drink lots of tea (no sugar added), but I don't count the tea in my water consumption log? Should I?

Any feedback or opinion would be appreciated.

I always wondered that myself. My boyfriend doesn't like the taste of water so he adds his powerade powder to it and calls that as drinking his water.

If you don't add anything to it and it's Decaf, I would add it.

Only water for me...nothing else logs as water consumption. Everything else I list under "other"

I saw in other topics that people say that if your tea is caffeinated then your not suppose to add it as water... but if your tea has no caffeine then you can add it. I think cause the caffeine actually dehydrates you then hydrates you.. maybe someone knows more on this and could elaborate more...

I drink green tea too and yes I add as a water :) I also do that with lemon juice that I make with no sugar :) BUT I drink simple water as well at least 4 cups.

Thanks for the feedback. I mostly drink green tea with no sugar added. I was starting to feel disappointed in myself for averaging 4/5 glasses of water a day. If I try to drink more than that, I feel bloated and force-fed. With tea, I'm easily at 8+.
