I am having some pain when i lift up my heel to walk on the top right side of my foot. Im not sure what it is. I run and do dance classes 2-4 times a week. Could I be wearing the wrong shoe??

This sounds like a silly question but sometimes it's the root of the problem- are you tying your shoes too tight?

That could be what's going on. I was running with a cross training shoe and my feel and shins killed me! So I went and bought a pair of actaul running shoes and I can tell a huge difference! I take Zumba 3 days a week and I have the Zumba shoes off their website and put arch supports in them and I can't tell a difference with those as well!! Get well soon!

I honestly think it might be your shoe laces too! That happens to me when I lace my shoes too tight. Usually I'll loosen the laces in the lower part of the shoe and tie it tight at the knot so it stays on. That way your feet can spread out. If I tie my shoes tight, there's always pain in the top of my foot and I have to stop and retie the shoe looser.

No. It is the weirdest thing it don't hurt to touch. Only when I lift my heel up to walk. The pain is mild I guess I could say it's a pulling discomfort I guess.

I've had problems with that from wearing the wrong size/worn out shoes. Every time it's happened I thought my foot was broke. But as soon as I got into a better pair of shoes the pain went away instantly....and I'm not even talking about running.
  • I had that before and had no clue why. It took a month to subside for me and it did make it difficult to workout so I tried to stick to things that didnt have much impact on my feet directly. I had it on just one foot on the top. I feel for ya!
