Favorite non-weight bearing exercises?

What are your favorite non-weight bearing exercises? I have ankle problems and don't want to use them as "poor me" excuse to avoid exercise.

    Have you tried a stationary bike or maybe use a rowing machine? The rowing machine you have to push a little with your feet, but its only to push the seat back slightly.

    Resistence bands

    sit-ups

    pull ups

    Planks

    free weights (upper body if your ankles won't let you dead lift or squat)

    Wall squats.

    on and on... If you noodle on it a while you'll come up with other things you can do. :flowerforyou:

    I use an elliptical and have lost quite a bit of weight. Of course you do have to stand and bare your own weight. You can adjust the resistence way down if necessary.
