So today we had food day today and I tried really really hard to not pig out but I gave in and ate (not as much as usual) So my question is since I'm over my calories should I not eat anything else tonight??

Maybe eat a salad and a little bit of protein if you're hungry. I know for me, if I go too long without eating, I feel sick, get headaches and I'll wake up in the middle of the night hungry and eat everything in sight the next day! If you're not hungry though, don't feel like you HAVE to eat.0

I think a better plan would be to get a quick work out. Even if it is low key....I am not a fan of skipping meals. Maybe something light0

I'm no professional when it comes to this stuff.... but if you get hungry maybe try eating a healthy snack and then recognizing the fact that tomorrow is your day to start fresh. Don't beat yourself up for it. Start fresh in the morning.0

Hi there
I found this site today and joined immediately. It is a great tool that we can all use to help in our battle with weight loss.
I have the added benefit of working in a specialist medical clinic which includes an on-site registered dietitian. In answer to your question I have asked this of the dietitian who tells me that we shouldn't look on it as falling off the wagon but rather stepping away for a few moments and then getting back on. So if you decide that today is your day from stepping away and you feel that you really need to eat more then do it but it's important to recognise the difference between hunger and emotional eating.
I hope this answer helps you.0 -
Once you get into watching your calories on a regular basis, your body might not feel hungry after a large meal splurge. It's like it knows that it had enough calories for the day. Tonight, for you, I would eat a salad at least, fruit, and/or vegetables.0

If your Hungry then Yes eat something light like a Salad. I learned the hard way my very 1st week dieting and we went to
eat at a resteraunt and I literally sabotaged my 1st weight loss and ended up doing a week over simply to
lose what I had already lost. I had no idea i could gain that many pounds on 1 Sat. Huge lesson learned, haven't done that again
either :00 -
If you don't eat for long period of time, your body goes into "starvation mode" and the next time you eat, it will store the food thinking you won't feed your body again for a while. so, like other members said, snack and exercise, but definitely eat.0

If you are hungry I say eat! Just make sure it is actually hunger drink a glass or 2 of water and wait 30 minutes if you are still hungry eat just choose healthy options! We all have days every now and again it is so important that we recognize and move forward!0
