Hey everyone,

I just started 30 Day Shred today and was wondering how you have counted this in your exercise on MFP. When I search for "30 day shred" it recommends I look up "30 tai shred" (??) which also has no results. Any advice you have would be great.

Thanks!!

I just started 30 DS this week as well, and I log it under circuit training, general. I did a search here in MFP and that seemed to be the most recommended way to log it

I know that a lot of people count it as "Circuit Training" but that is so general--I found it was inaccurate for me when I started checking my HR. If you'd like to get a better idea of what you are burning it's important to find your pulse and check your heart rate maybe 3 times while you are doing the excersise and then average those numbers.

This website allows you to plug in your age, sex, weight and HR and it will tell you how many calories you burned:

If you do not have a HRM do not fret. It is very simple to take your HR. Find your pulse and a clock. Count the number of beats for 10 seconds and then multiply that by 6.
  • Thanks for all of your responses! I tried just putting in "Aerobics" but I felt cheated on the calorie count (lol). Circuit training seems like a good way to go. Thanks again!
