Hello everyone, I found the ap on my iphone and thought I would give this a go. I have never tried calorie counting before so I would be grateful for advice and encouragement please! I work shifts so find it really hard to stick to regular eating patterns (I am on the road a lot so have to eat when the window of opportunity opens!) but having just returned from holiday I thought what better time to try shift some weight!
Congratulations on all the fab stories I have read so far ... keep up the good work all of you and I hope that some of your willpower and determination will rub off on me!!

Welcome ....I just joined a week ago by finding the APP on my iPhone also!
Wishing you the best. Don't know if it can work for you but I find that if I fill out my food plan in the morning I just follow that throughout the day.
You may have a different challenge if you are not on a routine eating time but if you can have some sort of plan it will really work.
good luck!0 -
welcome. You will find lots of support and suggestions here. Have you tried packing a cooler with your days' supply? this way you can have your healthy foods available no matter where you are. In my previous role I spend the bulk of my day in my car - this worked for me otherwise I was hitting McDonalds. also, I would freeze small bottles of water - worked to keep my food cold and I then had cold water all day too. Good luck.0

Hi
I'm pretty new to this site myself. My housemate found the app on her android phone, and I dl'd it as well. It's pretty awesome. I find it great motivation and get a kick out of seeing how many calories are burned off each time I do some exercise! NEver fails to make me smile.
Good luck with your weight loss. Feel free to add me as a friend, if you likeWe can help each other through it.

hi
same here I joined a week ago and have never counted calories as I thought it would be really hard! this is so easy to do and a great way to change your eatting patterns and habbits!
I've always found it hard to lose weight and this week I've lost 3lb so if I can do it so can you!
Good luck!0 -
Thank you all, I work 12 hour shifts so it is hard to get a cool bag big enough to fit my supplies in lol, I am adding the food to diary thing as and when I eat it so that way I cant "forget" something and I always have my phone to hand when at rest!
Thanks for the welcomes and friend requests I hope that we can help each other though I dont know how often I will get into the forums.. I will try I promise! x0
