Getting my Butt back into High gear!

About Me
Trying to get fit again, Working In Iraq for the next 5 months which is actually the perfect setting for me to eat healthy (they have a healthy eating section in the mess hall) and get some workouts in, been hitting the gym for at least 1.5 hours a day.
The hardest part is portion control, although I know how to eat healthy. I've been from 235lbs to 175lbs FOUR times, and I PROMISED myself this is the absolute LAST time. PERIOD. Stress with work and school leads me to an unhealthy life style, but I think I not have a capable strong willed mental aspect to reach my goal and stay at it.
Why I Want To Get In Shape:
to have better chances at finding a future ex wife =P
and I want ABS damnit!
My brothers wedding in September, I've always been the "big guy" around my relatives, and now I only want to be the "big guy" when they are referring to my shoulders arms and back! Also finding a hot date to the Wedding would be nice too! My confidence DEF goes sky high when I'm in shape, but you never know! I might find someone on this site to take! haha! At least they know the hard work it takes to reach a goal!
I have a light hearted sense of humor and know how to make fun of myself, and look at the brighter side of things. Also big on sarcasm! I think my attitude helps me a lot striving for a better body and healthier lifestyle.
I have a really good inspirational friends who support me, and even told me I was getting "bigger" again and to get my butt back in gear. They tell me because they care about me and my health which is awesome. It's a little harder being by myself overseas and doing it, but it also refrains me from having temptations, such as going out to eat and making bad decisions.
Oh yeah, and the whole no drinking alcohol thing there helps a ton too!!

Best of luck and in a way it kind of sucks you don't have the temptations there because I feel like every time you turn something down or make a healthier choice it helps you and your will power in the long run. I at least know that's the case for myself. Either way though with the heat and like you said healthier food choices you really only have one way to go, so stick with the workouts and you'll be back better then ever in no time.0

but there are tons of temptations here, the average solider gains 10lbs while here because if you don't go to the healthy food part, everything else is burgers, fries, pizza ect.... Although they also have some good stuff like fish and veggies. I know all about temptations. But I've already made a bet with my co-worker on abs by the time we leave in September, and I also make myself hold to my lifestyle eating choice by telling EVERYONE i'm on a MISSION to loose weight, that way if I slip, trust me, they will catch it! It's how I build my support system up. Tell everyone, and you become afraid to disappoint not only yourself but them as well! trust me, it works!
