I am going to do a no labels challenge next week and I was wondering if anyone had done one before and what they ate post workout to get the quick simple sugars and easily digestible proteins to recoup quickly. I have 7 workouts on Monday and Wednesday and need to figure out what I can replace my chocolate milk and protein shakes with.

All help is great.

Ok... maybe I'm dumb, but... what's a no labels challenge?

A no labels challenge is a week of eating foods that are unprocessed, single ingredient foods. Fruits, veggies, unprocessed meats, dry beans. Nothing that has been processed past its natural state with the exception of being butchered.

I would join in, but I find it hard to come up with ideas for what to eat.

It is a lot of veggies, a few fruits and some meat. You can also eat beans and unprocessed rice and nuts. With that you can make chili, stews and soups, and meat and veggie dishes.

Not an expert here - but would a home made trail mix cut it?
Dried fruit for sugar, nuts and seeds for protein, minerals etc.
Or you could make some bars or balls out of blended dates, nuts etc?

That is a really great idea, thanks. I rarely eat trail mix, so it didnt even occur to me.
