could be water/waste weight. Could be the difference in gaining muscle and losing fat, could be approaching TOM, could be a lot off things that don't REALLY mean you gained a lb. Try not to freak out, and remember a woman's weight can flucuate up to 5 lbs in a single day. I wouldn't stress over it, I bet it'll be gone and then some by next week. :flowerforyou:
  • Getting Thin: You said you need to write down everything this week? Are you not logging everything you eat into the database system here on MFP? If not, you should be. It helps a ton! That way, it will tell you if you are going over in one area or another. Try logging everything you put in your mouth this week and then see what your scale says.

    You can do it!:drinker:

I agree, it could be many things. Forget it and just follow your plan, it will work. As long as you know you are doing the right stuff, it will come off, that is why I don't bother weighing anymore, I log my calories and exercise, the scales only stressed me out and dissappointed me.

Don't feel to bad, I got on the scale this morning and gained 5.5 lbs, I am pretty sure it is water, because I am within the same week of TOM!!!!

I am the type that always holds onto water really bad, and I hate it, that is why I carry a water pill with me and when I feel it I take one and man I didn't realize how much water I can carry.

Keep your chin up and it does get better.

    Have a great day

all women should stop weighing themselves just before and during TOM, it is unfair.

    That should be a challenge.
  • Yeah that week I was on TOM...But that week I never went over my calories I logged everything

I never realized my name had that connotation :ohwell:
Anyway, I weigh myself everyday just as habit, and I am amazed how much my weight fluctuates from day to day, regardless as to how well I have been eating / exercising (and I'm a guy, so I don't have the hormonal factors to deal with).
Only weigh yourself once a week or two, skipping when you're on TOM, so those daily fluctuations don't get you down. Focus on the big picture.
Bottom line- a pound is nothing. Don't get discouraged.
