Usually a serving is 2 oz dry or 1 cup cooked.

Additionally, 1c. pasta (cooked) is roughtly the size of a tennis ball, so you can eyeball it that way too.

I look at the back of the box . Usually the box is 8 servings so I figure it by that . If you need four serving you make half the box and you would get a fourth of it when its cooked . Its a pain to figure it out but after a while you can eyeball it .

I just avoid it all together and eat lots of veggies instead. I have not touched pasta in 7 months and I don't miss it one bit.

    Such a pain-
We make 4 servings. So we premeasure out 4 servings. Then when it is done, weigh it again and divide by 4 (or however many servings you made)!

I haven't read the other posts, i just pushed reply! :)
But try one day when its just for you, mesure out a portion for youself, and do it dry before you cook. keep that mesurment.
Measure again when its cooked. Log that info somewhere. That way, next time you have cooked stuff and then mesure it, you can calculate, or vise versa.
I mesured 1/4 of dry rice, and it came out to 3/4 cooked
    Keep at It!!!
