Hello everyone!
Has anyone ever tried interval training? If so, was it helpful in burning those last few pounds? Also, exactly how did you do it? Really any info would be helpful!

I've tried turbo fire and insanity and both of those have allowed me to loose 2-3bls a week.
Also, treadmill interval is very consistance and a good start to interval training.

I have a do Interval Training. http://www.intervaltraining.net/ has a bunch of information on Interval Training. I do Tabata Intervals, and I do Metabolic Resistance Training which is sort of like High Intensity Interval Training mixed with strength training. Interval training is really easy and more fun than long boring runs (at least for me). I use an app on my iphone called seconds but even just using a watch or timer works just as well. I did it today and the session looked like this:
5 min warm up walking, to light jog
Then 17 intervals alternating between:
30 seconds of running as fast as I can
1 minute 30 seconds walking and recovering.
The last interval is another 5 minute cool down.
You can do fewer intervals when you 1st start like 10 or 15, but ideally you want the exercise at the beginner level to last between 20-25 minutes. You can walk after that but this provides a really good workout and your body starts to adapt and want more pretty quickly.
