I'm Lost

My ovary burst last week, and I've been horribly sick ever since. They keep wanting to run tests on me, and I have no money to do all this. I was doing so good with my weight loss. But now, all I want to do is cry because I'm in such pain, and I'm scared. I don't know what this will do to me and my ability to have children one day. I have a few supporters, but other than that, no one really cares. My mom doesn't ask how I am, and neither do my siblings or father. Exercise isn't helping to relieve my pain....It's making it worse, in most cases. Can anybody help me understand what's going on with me?

Oh honey!! That is rough. I have never gone through anything like that - but Im here if you need an ear. It must be difficult without your family supporting you through this. Its a lot to deal with - especially with the rediculous cost of medical care0

There is quite a bit of Medical info on the Internet, you can do a search for your condition and if you are careful to read reputable sites, you could get more information. I wouldn't panic yet about conceiving in the future. Just get through this crisis first and come out healthy and then discuss your options. It doesn't do you any good to worry and be stressed out - this may all work out just fine.

You still have your other ovary-so being able to have children in the future my not even be an issue.....did you have surgery for this? This can be very serious if not taken care of properly. As for the medical bills their should be a patient advocate that should be able to direct you in aiding with the costs for all your treatment-sorry that your family is not supportive-you need to just look out for you!0

I haven't had any surgery. I've had ultrasounds and blood work to find out what was going on, and my doctor was talking about cysts, but then he said, "your ovary burst" so I don't know if he was still talking about the cyst or if he was talking about my actual ovary. I've applied for MaineCare, so hopefully that will help. I really can't afford all these medical bills when I've got 1k bills a month as it is.
Everything I see on the Internet is telling me it's either Endometriosis or PCOS, and neither of those options look good to me at all. I just hope everything does work itself out.
Thanks for listening and helping0
