I was so bored today.. When I got up I was aiming for the kitchen but instead steered the opposite direction. I called my dog and shouted "want to go for a walk?!" couldn't get his hopes high and disappoint him..so I grabbed the leash and off we went0

Hot tea, or I go out for a walk. If it's been 2-3 hours since my last meal, then I probably *am* really hungry, so I have a light snack. Like right now. Off to the fridge I go...0

Air-popped popcorn or baby carrots. Not many calories, good fiber to keep you moving and I watch a movie with it.0

I have this problem and it SUCKS.
I literally obsess in my mind over food I want to eat. So the only thing I can do is drink water. Lots of water- like I can drink 4 L easy. Then I come on this site to check the forums, or I go clean the house, or email/chat with friends. I may get some hand weights to keep near the couch to do arm exercises while watching TV.
It's really really hard! All of the suggestions you have gotten thus far are fantastic- this is just what I do to keep the snack monster away! Good luck0 -
if my 11 month old is still awake.. then i play with him but when he's sleeping i usually drink water or do crunches/sit ups/planks.0

eat
BUT when im being good... i walk, or do work!! (i own my own company so there is ALWAYs things to do!!!)
If you're bored you can do some of my to-do list if you like??0 -
Drink 3 cups of water fast, then sip another 3. You won't be hungry, you'll be full. Then later, you'll get extra exercise walking to the bathroom.0

I cross stitch mainly. Theres never much on tv these days and some nights I just go to bed early.0

Watch Supernatural! :-)
Awesome :-)0 -
play a stupid game on facebook or if i'm feeling creative i'll make some beaded jewellery0

One of the main things I do is brush my teeth. That way most foods taste bad. Chew gum. Clean up the house, go for a walk, do something that is away from food0

I guess I'm going to have to find something to do to keep my hands busy....
I crochet and sew and write now, so I guess I'll have to keep it up without snacking.0 -
play video games..call of duty, dead space etc.0

Knit while watching a DVD! Or I take my laptop into the bathroom so I can watch something on iPlayer while I bathe (laptop sits on toilet, well away from any water!), or go to bed and watch Buffy DVDs! Or play on my 360! I have to say though, that by the time I've finished work and had dinner, I'm usually too tired to be bored!
I rarely eat dinner before 9pm, so never get food cravings/hunger in the evenings - perhaps having dinner a little later might help you?0 -
