I guess the Subject says it all!
How much do you pay for Personal Training?
How long are your sessions?
How often do you do it?
Thinking of "investing" my Tax Refund into Personal Training.. for a healther / leaner body! Any help would be appreciated.. trying to figure out what's a good price and what's a bad price!

I do a small group training at my gym and that is $15 per session. For Jan-March I was in a group that met twice a week. Now I am in a group that meets once a week.
I also work out with the same trainer on my own once a week. If I buy 10 or more sessions, it's $50 a session. Less than 10 sessions is higher but I don't remember how much.
It has made a huge difference in my body and endurance, especially when I was meeting with him 3 times a week. He also is the one that told me about MFP.0 -
I paid 65.10 biweekly (roughly 1500 in a year) for 36 1 hour training sessions. Didn't last long as I would go 3x a week, however if I could afford it I would do it all over again she really helped me. I felt more comfortable doing weight training knowing I had a trainer to keep my form in check.
I think it really depends on where you go and what you are looking for.0 -
I hired a private trainer for 30 one hour sessions at $100 each. However it really depends on your location (I'm in San Francisco) the experience your trainer has and what you are willing to pay. Some trainers will have more experience and may offer a better option and charge less due to circumstances. I would recomend sitting down with several trainers and interview them and go for the one that best fits your needs.0

I just purchased (36) 1 hour sessions for $49 a session. Which is totally worth it since he has a degree is nutrition and excersise science so not only is he training me, but he is also handling my nutrition... I will be going 3x a week for 12 weeks. After that I am hoping to only do 1 session every few weeks to help switch up my workout regimin.0

$25 for 30 minutes. I've found a personal training session once weekly to be a motivator to get to the gym regularly. I've trained off & on for 2+ years now; feeling much better physically when I workout regularly.0
