It's Time to make a change

I have read some of your success stories and people that have struggled with their weight and It makes my heart happy. Yesterday at work I showed a co-worker a picture of my husband and she said " NO WAY you're lying thats not your husband" It made me realize the way people look at me and how I look at myself. I hate when I feel like people look at me because I am overweight. I am going to do it. I will be that cute girl again.

    Of course you can do it :) it wont be easy and there will be sweat, tears and pain but IT WILL BE WORTH IT! :)

    I have struggled with my weight for a long time.....shoot! Anyways I remember when my kids were young and so cute, I got to know one of the Mum's at their school. We talked a lot and got to know each other. She had never met my husband and later in the year when she did she said, "oh I see where your kids got their good looks". Ouch.......I thought the kids looked a lot like me. Okay the bottom line is weight just isn't cute......and comments like that hurt but, it did make me think!

    Welcome to MFP! Just stick to it and you'll do great here, i'm reasonably new, but i've amazed myself already with the results, though small still.

    Welcom to MFP. I go through the same thing. I'm short and heavy (5'0", 246 lbs) and my husband is tall and fit. (6'2", 210 lbs). Sometimes people look at us like, "really, you got HIM?" That upsets me, but I also have a really smart mouth and a sassy attitude so I shake it off quite easily. Anyway, I've decided to make a change too. I've only been on MFP for two weeks and I've had great results so far. This is a fantastic group of like-minded supportive people. I'll send you a friend request. I wish you much success!!!
