Anyone Else Feel Like You're Getting Away With Something Whe

...you have earned a nice bit of exercise calories to pad your daily caloric goal, you've finished 3 meals and a snack, and you have like 1,000+ calories left? Bwa ha ha haaaaaa!!

I'm literally like a kid in a candy store trying to think about what I could eat now! There's a Cold Stone that's a 10 minute walk from my place. Do I dare? I probably won't eat all of those calories back. I'm currently on a 1 lb/wk loss, so I'll probably aim for something closer to 500-700. It's also early in the evening, so I'll probably get hungry for something more substantial than just a sugar bomb. Dunno, the options seem endless right now!

Absolutely! :) I had that feeling a week ago when I had like 1200 calories for dinner. I was going out to eat with my family, and normally they have to go where I want so that I can find something on the menu to eat. But, this time, I was just like "Go wherever! It doesn't matter tonight!" Ended up going to IHOP and I got chocolate pancakes. Lol. Couldn't even finish them, and I don't feel guilty at all. I earned them. It felt nice to go somewhere without having to plan out calories. Just go out and eat somewhere like anybody else.

I would stick with eating more of those pepitas. So good for you. Protein, fat, and calories. Avoid that ice cream. It looks like you make great whole food choices all day long---I doubt you want to mess it up with ice cream :)

I was just trying to figure out how I was going to use up the 400 calories I have left tonight... Decisions, decisions...

I love exercise calories! That always allows me to get my blue bunny hi-lite cookie and cream ice cream.... with a FULL cup instead of a half cup! WOOHOO!!

I eat pretty light early in the day and save a lot of my calories for late afternoon/dinner/evening meals and munching. Sometimes I get busy and don't get enough in and I'm looking at net 800 calories after I've had dinner and dessert. Then I start getting creative.

LOL, you had to go and say something sensible, didn't you? Well, I think I'm going to pass on Cold Stone if for no other reason than that I have some Rice Dream in the freezer, along with a big ol' carton of fresh strawberries, home made chocolate ganache, and some of my co-worker's famous brownie bites.

    Isn't that the truth!

However, if I am not hungry enough to eat all my exercise calories, I don't go looking for more to eat. For some reason it is easier to stop eating when you know you could have those extra calories if you really wanted them.
