Coffee & jogging. That'll get you movin'... haha0

A Kellogs fiber bar or a fiber one bar the night before you go to bed. They really work, at least for me.0

but coffee i mix with milk and white chocolate mix.... does tea work??0
-
but drinking something will defeat the purpose!! you'll have the water from the coffee in you0

Lemon juice in water. Get enough juice in there to make it tangy. That gets me going pretty fast.0

I'm not sure what I expected when I saw this topic, but I had to look at it, lol. I pee in the morning before weighing in, but I don't really worry about the rest, lol.0

A stool softener the night before, and exercise when you wake up. I would suggest coffee also, but if you don't pee it all out, you might as well weigh yourself without pooping.0

Did you try googling "poop alarm clock." I just did.0
-
I ignore the whole poop thing.....I fgure if I poop later in the morning, then it will show tomorrow when I get on the scale0

Really coffee helps with that? caffeine or sans caffeine?
If its caffeine then can I drink tea instead or won't it have the same effect?
ACTUALLY come to think of it last Christmas I visited some of my boyfriends friends that were missionaries from Italy. EVERY house we went to we had cappuccino. By house 3 I badly had to run to the wash room! Wow!
I need to break my coffee maker back out!0 -
Doesn't it all just even itself out in the end? You'll see results whether you poop or not if you're losing weight. We're all in this for the long run, anyway, right?0

you're better off to wake up pee then weigh immediately....drinking something to get the poop going is going to defeat the purpose, you will then have the water weight in you. You could always take a stool softener the night before like someone suggested but do you really wanna do that every time you weigh? Everyone has different poop schedules!!! Up your fiber and hope for the best if not just pee and weigh!!0
-
haha...when I saw this title I actually LOL'ed.
My wife thinks I am weird because I am so on "schedule" with my poop'ing.
I poop every morning when I get up. Usually within the first 30 minutes of waking up. It is great because it is predictable.
I wake up, brush, wash up, dress, have some cereal, poop, off to work.
I don't drink coffee (don't like the taste of it) but I hear from everyone that does drink coffee that it makes them poop.0 -
Why not just disregard your actual weight and just watch the trend of losing weight? Seriously, it doesn't matter what your real weight is. If you're in a caloric deficit and you have been active, you're losing weight. Weighing yourself should only be an estimate. Stop caring.0

Smooth Move tea the night (6-12 hours) before - that stuff works for sure!!!0
-
Cascara sagrada... comes in pill form, check it out!0
-
citracel after dinner0

Squats should get the old bowel moving pretty good!0

Another thought...
One time I was all clogged up and googled natural remedies. The best one I found was a few dates and a glass of milk at night. The next morning I was good to go. Try it, it might work for you too.0 -
Thanks for the mini giggles with this...
I am on a morning first thing schedule...it just slowly worked out that way. Fiber helps, the night before, but other than that my body just said this is it's time.
Otherwise, I agree with the other folk who say who cares if you go #2 or not. It's not that big of a deal...you should be looking at the downward trend, not the exact number...there are a lot of things that go into weight, like water. Are you going to dehydrate yourself next? The point is to lose fat, not just "weight" in general. The mass of feces in your colon isn't why you are here, it's presumably the excess body fat.0 -
smdh....coffee...no wonder...0
-
hot water will also get them moving. it's not always the actual coffee, it's normally just the effect of hot water. also stretching. that'll get you movin!0
-
no even coffee is helping me anymoe I wish I could be regular again like I was once was *sigh*0

Am I the only one who finds it vaguely disturbing that people are suggesting a stool softener? Surely if you're eating enough fibre and good fats you shouldn't need some sort of medication to have a poo?
Do agree with black coffee though - I don't drink it for that purpose (I just luuuuurve it) but it certainly hastens things along sometimes....0 -

I do all this already and still have trouble going, but then this is coming from someone who used to go everyday at least 2 times a day, when I was eating bad. Maybe I am asking for too much lol I am trying everything natural at the moment, more fiber, more water, good fats, probiotics, hopefully something helps!0 -
annieee i kinda agree about the stool softners since im not bogged up... but i was trying not to do coffee cause thats just a reverse affect... unless... hmmm maybe i do a shot of espresso and thats all HMMMMM0
