Dinner- 4oz prime rib, baked potato, 1 cup steamed broccoli,
Desert- 1 slice of chocolate cake, 1 very small slice of lemon cake, 1 sugar cookie w/ icing (looks like a duck haha), and 1 slice of apple tart!!

---About how many calories you think that is???

I enjoyed it so much!! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Easter with all of their friends and or loved ones :)

I am not even keeping track today LOL. I do this 4 days a year. Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I don't see the point in keeping track on days like these.. I will say I had NO chocolate :)

If the cookie was broken, it doesn't count.

My estimate would be about 1500 or so. That made me want a ducky cookie ;) and lemon pie is my favorite thing ever.

my total for today is trying to creep up to 2000 calories and I'm not pleased with this at all. I upped my allowed intake ( I manage my own) I normally have it set at 1200 but I allowed for the holiday and put it at 1800 for today and tomorrow only, then back down to 1200. I have some I need to burn off but I think its possible.

This is true. I read it on the internet.

I've just gone over on mine by eating my first chocolate of the day.

Considering going for a short walk to ease it off - I did 5 miles yesterday so I am not stressing.

Yea. I think I was a bit low on the prime rib. Probably more like 500 calories.
  • My guess for myself is about 1900. Its the first time in 3 months I've gone over 1200. Not so sure it was worth it but I won't worry about it.

    Spinache Quiche 600 ( 2 slices)
Sausage Gravy 353 1/2 biscuit for the gravy 100
    Cheesy Hashbrowns 170
    Fruit Pizza 400
    Cinnamon Apples 130

A few of these seem kind of high, but I got them right off the receipe.
  • 1500 cal for me for lunch/dessert. But I went to the gym for an hour this morning so I'm 43 cal under my daily total. No proper dinner for me tonight....just a LOT of water to get rid of all the sodium I took in!

I had about the same thing and without dessert I'm at 567. I'd have to quess all those sweets are pretty high.

It's a holiday, this doesn't happen every day. Enjoy!

I stuffed myself today, logged it in and only went over 400 calories, so, I'm about to walk those puppies off.

Today will be the first time since January I am not logging my food. I do have to say, though, I was very careful with portion sizes, I did not over eat and I did get in a good walk. I just ate food that for the past four months I have been avoiding.

Treat yourself to a "free" day today.

I was over by 800 cals today so worked out, earned 980 calories, but there will be more celebrations tomorrow so will ensure I workout in the morning, the rest of the week I will be good ;-) Dont worry, enjoy yourself.

I had a 1200 calorie Easter lunch and enjoyed every bite. My big mistake was the 4 cheese souflee at Panera for Easter breakfast! So I didn't have dinner and went for a "brisk" 1 hour walk. I didn't exactly break even but I don't do this every day. Happy Easter, everyone!

Ahh lucky I worked all Easter now I guess. I'm not a big chocolate eater anyway but a big cooked lunch would have had me if that happened :/ Great control everyone!

Easter dinner put me over my daily limit by 880 calories but it's not like I have a holiday feast every day, so it's all good. Tomorrow it's back to my 4 mile walk and calorie counting.

I leaned on salad greens to low cal through my lunch so that the Peep and piece of apple pie I had wouldn't totally kill me. X-D

I have had some emergencies come up.
I have been binge eatin for four days now:(.
So far I have gained a pound.
I know I can get it back off too, but what is really bothering me is that I am still wanting to keep on eating.

The crisis is almost over, but it has left a deep hole, which I am continutling to fill with food.
I am trying to keep the course, but I'll be damned if it ain't biting me in the *kitten* right now.

So for Easter food: I have eaten tons of chemicals and I feel horrible, my self esteem is low, my stress is high,
And my hopes for a complete recovery is waining.

When the candy is gone, I hope to be done with the chemicals.

Went over by about 400 cal... Good thing I walked for 80 minutes!!

It was all worth it though!

My entire lunch (with a couple candies included was about 550 calories.
I'm actually searching for something to eat just to bring my calories over 1200 for the day. lol

I discovered, being around people who aren't mindful of what they eat keeps me more motivated to stay on track. Weird.

Went out for brunch and had yogurt with cranberries/cashews/honey to start, then honey-oatmeal bread French toast stuffed with cherry-bourbon infused ricotta (which I only ate 1/2 of...). And a mimosa! I estimated 1200 calories for that, could have been more but I don't care! Worth every calorie!

I "made up" for that brunch by only having a small piece (~3oz) of chicken w/salad greens and balsalmic vinegar for dinner.

I planned today to be a high-cal day and have been under my cals by about 200 every day this week otherwise.

:-( I'm truly sorry. Not about the weight gain or bad food choices - screw that. There ARE more important things than avoiding bad foods. I hope your heart and mind heals soon. Everything else will follow suit.
