Brides of 2012

All you ladies out there know how it is. To want to look your very best on that day you walk down the isle and say your I do's. My self and my fiance just recently set a date and not until 2012. I really want to get a handle on my weight and look the best I can. I wanted to create a support group for all the up and coming brides. It doesn't even neccesarily have to be brides of 2012!! We can keep one another focused on our goals express our triumphs and our hardships and just plain and simple share our wedding stresses. If you're interested in joining just leave a little note about yourself below! Happy losing and congrads on your big day! :)

    Hi,

    I am getting married in June 2012 and wont even consider trying on wedding dresses until I've shifted some weight!!

    I am getting married in June 2012 in North Devon, UK

    I started losing weight in July last year as I wanted to be fit and healthy not just for the wedding but honey moon and life in general and also look amazing in the dress, what bride wouldn't!

    I recently purchased my wedding dress but the sample bearly fitted me back in September 2011, It hit me that I needed to do something about it. I had to lose weight. I joined a gym, go to Zumba dance class once a week, swimming and more recently due to nice weather jogging outside and so far have lost 49lbs since july 2011. I feel ten times better for losing the weight. I have another 25lbs to lose but I am glad I did lose the weight well in advance of wedding date. Its been hard work but completely worth it.

    I'm getting married on 8th April 2012 (Easter Sunday), Gloucestershire, UK.

    I'm pretty new to MFP - hoping it keeps me motivated... so far met some lovely people on-line! :-)

    My biggest challenge is to lower the amount of chocolate I eat and do more exercise or at least some at all!!!
