I use Trader Joe's Unflavored Protein Powder every morning in my yogurt, but since there isn't a TJs near me, I think I'll need to find a replacement :(. Thing is, I've been hard-pressed to find any protein powder that comes close to this one.... anyone have any suggestions?

Searching for something with :
"powdered sugar" consistency-- can't handle grainy powders!
Under 120 cals/2 g fat, around 25 g protein
Unflavored or Vanilla.

Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks!

I just bought Walmarts "Body Fortress' brand, but it seems very caloric at 270 per two scoop serving - so, I'll be watching for responses. To cut the cals down, I only use 1/2 dose.

My breakfast is Vegn Complete Whole Food Health Optimizer. I like the consistency and I only use 1/2 and save the other 1/2 for when I feel I need a snack. The Chai Tea flavor is best.

A scoop of isopure low carb whey isolate is 105 calories and 25g of protein. I love the cookies and cream.
  • I love Jay Robb's vanilla whey protein powder

I love Cytosport/Muscle Milk Chocolate whey protein. One serving is 140 cals, 2 grams of fat, 18 g carbs, 27 grams of protein. A six pound bag (78 servings) is around $33 at Costco but I believe it occasionally has a coupon in their coupon book. They also have vanilla at Costco.

I don't think it's quite as fine as powdered sugar but it's not gritty. It does definitely need a blender to mix up, sometimes I use the magic bullet blender if I don't want to use the regular blender.

I cannot afford to do the powders right now so I'm doing chocolate milk (well I'm doing the Soy version because I don't like regular milk).

AMP Wheybolic Extreme 60. They usually have single serving packs so you can try without jumping in with your entire wallet.

I really love BSN Lean Dessert powder! Tastes amazing- I don't drink shakes/smoothies but add it to oatmeal after cooking (need to add a little extra water) and it's delicious. I use 1/2 serving and top with some Greek yogurt or cottage cheese. SO good.

For baking, I use Spirutein vanilla- whey protein seems to give funky textures and am wary of soy products as a general rule but Spirutein is a tri-blen of soy, pea and...something else. Lol. Tastes good in baking but never had it in anything else. Also comes in single-serve :)
