OMG..I have been keeping my calories in check. I have been
working out 3 days per week, walking, weights etc. AND
just finishing up my monthly friend....and went on the scale
and "it" has added 6 pounds to my weight!!!! I feel awful,
and bloated!..Especially after Easter dinner. (Which I
watched what I ate)...this is ridiculous!!!..
o.k. just venting....I guess I have to just keep on pushing...

you might be just retaining water. did you eat something really salty? im sure you'll see a major loss next week when you weigh in. it happens to me all the time.0

In similar threads women have mentioned gaining 5-6 pounds of water weight. Not sure there's much you can do except watch your sodium and drink a lot of water.0

Give your body a few more days to lose the water weight. I try not to weigh myself during or for the first two days after. It'll come off I am sure. Drink lots of water to push the water out. Good luck and hang on, give it time. :flowerforyou:0

Check into potassium.. you may find it helpful for those unwanted excess water issues..0

I feel your frustration! It too happens to me....I exercise nearly every day , count calories daily and sometimes gain! IT is sooooo frustrating.....but I am hanging in there to hope I continue to lose. Stay strong you will see good results. The ups and downs around menses are temporary even though you .... know it still stinks!0

Just keep on pushing, girl! When I first started (15 days ago), I weighed myself after the first like 2 or 3 days. I was pissed because it said I gained! I knew I shouldn't have expected to see results THAT fast and I shouldn't have weighed myself that fast either, so I just kept at it. A week later I weighed myself and I was down 5 lbs! You can do it! Keep your head up and don't give up!0

I feel for ya...hang in there. I am dealing with the T.O.M issues myself. I usually do a few days before, during and a few days after. just keep doing what you are supposed to do and it will work itself out! Don't get discouraged though.
